The Hans H. Jenny Investment Club
The College of Wooster's student-run investment club — managing real capital, electing every trade by vote, and funding scholarships for our peers since 1955.
About
It started as $800 in pooled chapel fines. In the 1950s, daily chapel attendance was required at Wooster, and students who missed paid a fee. Professor Hans H. Jenny proposed handing that pot to students to invest. Seven decades of student leadership later, it has grown into a fund of $16 million and counting, still run entirely by undergraduates.
You do not need to be an Economics major to join. Past trustees have come from Biochemistry, History, Philosophy, Political Science, Computer Science, East Asian Studies, Data Science, Environmental Science, Communication, German, Chinese, and Urban Studies — Our Multidisciplinary Approach is part of who we are and how we invest.
